Excluding dependents is the most powerful and least controversial and most unifying way to clear the entire backlog in 2 - 3 years time. This way no EB2-EB3, I/C/ROW we will all be green.

Just got my checks cashed for I-485. I did not apply for EAD or AP with my 485.
Btw.. I did not have my medical exam and used the wrong G-325 form but still got receipted. I hope the second application I sent in does not cause any issues. :(

There are lot of people whodo investments,have kids and buy houses and everything else when they are on H1.
I don't see any reason to hold off things on H1. If your wife did master's why don't get her on H1, there are so many job openings available in market.

Thats true there are a lot of free riders and unfortunately they actually make fun of the effort and at the same time jumps first to take the advantage.
Free riders if you are reading this and I know you are, please and please come out of your cheap mentality and donate. You know very well that saving 20$ will not help you build a TajMahal, but donating just 20$ or 50$ will make a huge difference to millions of people INCLUDING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
So don't be ashamed of yourself by not donating and donate generously.

Thanks sirinme, my job responsibilities are similar in the new job (i.e. same job code classification). My only concern is whether is it legally necessary to file papers to USCIS under AC21 informing of job change now or wait till visa numbers for me becoem current again.

I think elimination of Labor Substitution would take out atleast half of 700 K pending labors..

I came here in 2000 and applied for GC in 2003(Nothing much Happened to it). Moved to different Company in March 2005 and applied for GC before PERM started. After that Applied for RIR conversion in JAN 2007 and my bad luck, the Labor did not get cleared before Auguat 17th and Company did not apply in PERM and Almost all of them got EAD and i am left behind. I am in this country for close to eight Years and not even signs of EAD.
On top of it, I applied H1b for my Wife this year and the quota was over on the first Day. She has PHD in Computer-science and did not get H1. What a mess ? And what kind of life i am leading here...
Thinking of all these things, I feel so frustated...
I am just waiting for PD to be 2005 and then apply for I-485 ? (Sucks Man..)
I am the worst Unluckiest Person on this whole earth....
On top of it, I applied H1b for my Wife this year and the quota was over on the first Day. She has PHD in Computer-science and did not get H1. What a mess ? And what kind of life i am leading here...

exactly same case, applied july 17th, notice date sept 10th, transferred to TSC

For your info, mine is not a transfer case. My application was filed directly with TSC on July 2nd and I have received 485 receipt notices from TSC itself. So delay in FP has nothing to do with transfer case.
I spoke to an IO today and my FP has still not been scheduled yet. Got the same old reply , waiting for an availalibilty from local ASC.
