Guys
Guys don't talk about what undocumented workers are going to get, every one has their own story. Instead of comparing like they are going to get these and those, we need to concentrate on what we want. We don't even need to spend lot of time to discuss in this forum about what undocumented workers are going to get, nobody knows when they will get these privileges. In USA you don't get anything that easily, you have to work hard to earn it.
We need to concentrate on IV goals to remove the retrogression and backlog elimination by spreading IV its agenda to our friends to get more funds and members. I believe this approach will help us to achieve our goals, instead talking about about legal vs. illegal.

Tell me one thing - Why do you expect IV core to spoonfeed everything to you and your friends. If you and your friends are raring to go and do something for the retrogressed community, why not come forward with ideas and show some efforts, instead of just harping on a forum with a bundle of dollars in your hand! Remember, IV is made up of you and me, and it's you and me who can make all the difference. It's very easy to sit on the sidelines and talk. And one more thing - "Have a positive attitude" about everything (life, IV, GC etc) and you will notice how much your point of view will change for better.
The best advice I have for you is to join your state chapter because IV does lot of its planning and strategy implementation behind the scenes. That way you will know more about IV's current and future plans, and will be able to contribute in a positive manner.

Let me send him a power point presentation and Microsoft Projects file about the "project plan" which he wants to see.

That' a narrow mind-set of PMP certification, which often do not apply in advocacy campaigns. I applied on July2,got the receipt on Aug 22 nd.Got EAD,AP.
One strange thing is my case is NSC to CSC but still in CSC only .I think except my case,all others cases transfred back to NSC.I do not know the reason.

If someone ports from eb3 to eb2 they should get the priority date of the day they were eligible to file an eb2 and not be able to carry the date from eb3.
Porting makes sense in a family based visa where your petitioner can file for an application while he is still a green card holder and then becomes a citizen which upgrades the beneficiary's category as well.
On an employment visa you file for an eb3 when you are eligible for an eb3 job, you file for an eb2 when you are eligible for an eb2 job. Why would you be able to jump ahead in the eb2 line when you were clearly did not have an eb2 job ? Just because you filed an application at some point of time in eb3 and waited a decade to get a better job doesn't mean someone else has to pay for your (pick one - laziness, ineptitude, lack of skill or lack of knowledge).
Most of IV Core is made of eb3 applicants and therefore there has never been any push from the core on this matter. And as someone said .. You ARE eating my lunch..

Now that date belongs to him and if he has gained sufficient expertise/skill level for him to promote to Eb-2 I-140, the transfer of dates is obvious. On the contrary he deserves to be ahead in line because he had already filed Eb-3 way ahead in advance. Calling him an unskilled, inept, or lazy proves him otherwise.

We have thousands here. We take just 1000 people and if everyone contributes 100 dollars - its 100,000 dollars. Just an estimate for lawyer fees incase we get that far

I do not understand why people spend their energy in coming up with some lame ideas. Just because you suffer does not mean that your fellows have to suffer, what is the point of being a sane individual with that kind of thought process.
There are people who come here on all kinds of visas F1, H1, L1 and like this country and stay back and need a green card for convenience. Students who came here want priority over people who came on H1B. It makes sense from their point of view.
Similarly people on H1B who got stuck in several stages and had to change the company have their own point of view.

Its not ideal world. I have personally experienced both types of desi companies. Some one has commented about hardships of Desi employers that they cant scale beyond 50 employees, lot of competition etc.
The reason they cant scale is they cant think beyond immediate future. When I suggested your ex-employee could bring you business, it was termed as long term sort of non-practical thinking. No wonder why many desi employers are where they are.
Overwhelming majority of desi employers that remain in staffing business havent learnt anything about running business. They are middle men not adding value to employee or the client. They thrive on fear, anxiety in employees and scare tactics created by contracts that they know are unenforceable.
What they dont realize is it takes 1 disgruntled employee who has nothing to lose and is willing them to take to the cleaners.

Here is my USPS status so far , they are slow in updating than Fedex/UPS.
Its also true that for Next day delivery they charge $20-25 but Fedex/UPS charges $80-$100. Lets hope it actually reaches there.

For your info, mine is not a transfer case. My application was filed directly with TSC on July 2nd and I have received 485 receipt notices from TSC itself. So delay in FP has nothing to do with transfer case.
I spoke to an IO today and my FP has still not been scheduled yet. Got the same old reply , waiting for an availalibilty from local ASC.

When the cases gets shuffled around the country from NSC to CSC and back, the dtabases are separate. FP notices are generated when information on different databases are alligned together.
